This 6 week workshop focuses on the primary skills young kids need to start making meaningful connections with their peers. This interactive group curriculum focuses on several aspects that can help your child begin to find the base for their social skills. Some of the material in this class covers: identifying what makes a good friend in others as well as themselves; delving into communication basics like eye contact, reading body language, and understanding voice tone; assertive communication needs, such as learning more about personal space and empathy for others. Some of the fun activities your child can look forward to are creating a friendship potion, making an empathy bracelet, and several interactive games and stories over the six week group.

In this 6 week workshop, through interactive games that foster learning and empathy, children get the opportunity to explore their feelings and gain more self awareness. Your child will gain a better understanding of their feelings through mindful activities and play, like using glitter bottles, making playdough, creating a “Feelings Monster”, and navigating an obstacle course!

Building Resilience
During this 6 week workshop, through engaging activities like pinwheel breathing for mindfulness, an obstacle course, a talent show, and journaling, your child will learn practical strategies to manage stress, build self-confidence, and cultivate resilience. Each class provides a supportive environment where children can explore their strengths, express themselves creatively, and develop valuable coping mechanisms.

Workshops for Parents and Teens
This two-week workshop designed for adolescents and teens, aims to foster a deeper understanding of stress and its impacts. Through a blend of interactive discussions and fun activities, your teen will explore the nuances of stress, distinguishing between healthy and harmful forms of stress and identifying their own unique stress responses. Our curriculum integrates mindfulness techniques, grounding exercises, and a variety of coping skills to equip your teen with practical tools for managing stress effectively. At the end of this workshop, your teen will get the chance to create their own personalized coping skills box, stocked with snacks, water, art supplies, and a journal, empowering them to use their newfound skills at home and beyond!

Our two-week workshop is designed to help support you, as parents, in fostering stronger connections with your children and teenagers, while also developing essential skills for setting healthy boundaries and facilitating co-regulation. Through a combination of engaging discussions and practical exercises, parents can explore effective communication strategies, enhance your understanding of empathy and validation in parent-child relationships, and discover techniques for promoting emotional regulation and mutual understanding. Our curriculum emphasizes the importance of nurturing a supportive and secure family environment while equipping parents with the tools and insights needed to navigate the challenges of raising resilient and emotionally healthy children!
